Blacklite District's single "The Struggle" breaks the Top 40 on RadioContraband's Under The Radar chart at #36. The chart monitors airplay at secondary market active rock radio stations across the country.
Just two weeks after it's release, the Nightcore version of Blacklite District's track "The Struggle" has hit 340,000 streams on YouTube, along with 9,000 "likes" and over 500 comments. The song is currently #45 on RadioContraband's "Under The Radar" chart, which tracks airplay in secondary markets across the country. The band is pleased to announce a partnership that will see all future Blacklite District releases coincide with Nightcore versions available for streaming only.
Nightcore is a popular style of music that consists of songs being sped up and put to an anime themed background. The YouTube channel is association with BLD has over 380,000 subscribers.

With a year off the road and a new album on the way, Blacklite District have officially announced "The Struggle Is Real Tour". The 41-date run will feature the band performing songs from 2014's Worldwide Controversy, including the Top 40 smash rock single "With Me Now", and new songs from the upcoming October 7th release of To Whom It May Concern.
"This show is truly our own," says vocalist/producer Kyle Pfeiffer, "It's the combination of a rock show, an EDM show, and everything new. We're all about being ahead of the 'curve' in every sense of the word."
"The Struggle Is Real Tour" will kick off Sep. 15 in Hutchinson, KS, and will end on October 31st at a soon-to-be announced show. Right now, Blacklite District is excited to announce the first four shows of the tour, including a homecoming in The Black Hills.
